15th Chicago Turkish Festival – Message to Our Supporters

Dear Members and Supporters of Turkish-American Community in Chicago,

As you may recall, last year, following a 14-year non-stop series of TACA’s Turkish Festivals, we had to give a break.  As a result, we have received many phone calls and emails from those who conveyed their sadness, but also offered help for the upcoming years.  Well the time has come!  We have already started organizing our 15th Turkish Festival. Yes, you heard it right! TACA will host our 15th Chicago Turkish Festival this year!

This year’s festival will take place during September 13-15, 2018 at Daley Plaza in Chicago, where most of our past festivals took place.  As always, we will have significant attendance from Turkey and by local artists and merchants.

At this juncture, we would like to draw your attention to the most important matter, which is YOUR INVOLVEMENT!  We need your participation more than ever this year.  We need your volunteer help, and we need your FINANCIAL SUPPORT!

TACA and the Festival Organization Committee will inform you in the coming days as to how you can participate and sponsor our festival. Ultimately, this is OUR festival, and we would like to show Chicago, once again, how it is done and how to have fun!

Looking forward to hearing from each and every one of you. Please volunteer and please pledge!

Thank you,

Ilgaz Ulger & Hatice Yavuz

Looking to reach Turkish and local merchants/artisans in if they are interested in being vendors at Hanover Park’s Corks & Crafts Fair on September 29th from 11 am to 4 pm. Where do I begin in reaching Turkish artisans?

Thanks in advance for your help and good luck on your festival. I look forward to celebrating!
